Meet Dr. Kevin Van Nostrand, D.C.
Dr. Kevin Van Nostrand is blessed to be the proud husband to his wife and a father to two amazing children. He graduated from Port Charlotte High school in 1992. This long time Charlotte County resident has earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic, a Bachelor’s degree in the Science of Nutrition and is Board Certified in Physical Therapy. Dr. Van Nostrand has also completed over 800 hours in Functional Nutrition. He is a Certified practitioner for RGCC (Research Genetic Cancer Center) and is currently working on completing his Diplomate in the American Board of Chiropractic Internists.
In 1997, Dr. Van Nostrand left a very successful practice in Oakton, Virginia to move overseas to practice Chiropractic in the Netherlands “Holland.” There, he became one of the first American Chiropractors to work in Holland’s world famous social health care system. Working closely with some of Holland’s best Orthopedic, Neurological, Chiropractic and Physical Therapy specialists, Dr. Van Nostrand experienced a different and more effective approach to treating neuro-musculoskeletal disorders (muscle related pain).
For 27 years, Dr. Van Nostrand has had a very well rounded approach to health. He has helped thousands of patients avoid spinal surgery by combining non-invasive Chiropractic treatment, Spinal Decompression, Physical Therapy and medical injections when cases prove difficult. Dr. Van Nostrand is able to provide Southwest Florida with these services all under one roof at Spinal Health and Rehab! When not in the office, Dr. Van Nostrand can be found with his family camping in the woods, coaching premier youth competitive soccer, or running marathons.
